The Reverend J. Alberta B. Olive is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clemon Bostic.

Presently, she is married to Thaddeus Olive. They are the proud parents of five children. They have ten grandchildren.

EDUCATION

Reverend Olive is a graduate David T. Howard School, Atlanta, Georgia - June 1, 1951. She later enrolled in The Blayton’s School Of Accounting and received a Stenographer Certificate. She received a Bachelor Of Arts Degree from Morris Brown College. Her Major was Philosophy and Religion, with a – Minor Psychology/Education. Reverend Olive attended The Interdenominational Theological Center completing subjects in The Old and New Testament. She attended The University Of Georgia (Atlanta Branch) completing Courses in Sociology and Ethics.

She completed nine (9) courses in Public Administration (In Service Training Program) at The Atlanta University.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

September 1, 1959, Reverend Olive was employed by The Fulton County Department Of Family And Children Services. She retired December 1, 1980, as a Caseworker II.

CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE

She became a Christian in her early childhood, but it was June 12, 1958, on a Wednesday Night when she received The Baptism of THE HOLY SPIRIT. Along with fourteen (14) other persons, she organized THE EMMANUEL Temple Holiness Church, in1958.

During her tenure as an active member of The Pentecostal Assemblies Of The World, Inc., she served in many offices. Among these, Sunday School Teacher and Bible Teacher for more than twenty years; Field Director for the Sunday School Department; Pianist, Organist: President and Vice President of The Georgia State Missionary Auxiliary. Reverend Olive served in several positions on the International Level.

At Midnight, January 1, 1960, she received THE CALL and COMMISSION from GOD to go into all the "World and Teach The Gospel." Reverend Olive was Licensed and Ordained, August 17, 1976.

Reverend Olive is FOUNDER/PASTOR/DIRECTOR of MT. Olive Word Of Faith Teaching Center, Inc. She is the Founder of the MT. Olive Christian Academy with Grades Pre-K through 7. Under her administration, The MT. Olive Community Center operated a Homeless Shelter for Intact Families.
